Six new movies will premiere between Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery during the month of May, though four of them aired previously on Hallmark+.

Hats Off to Love
PREMIERES: MAY 3 at 8pm Eastern on Hallmark Channel
STARRING: Ginna Claire Mason, John Clarence Stewart, and Holly Robinson Peete

Plot: Stella designs hats and fascinators for socialite Rosalind and meets her son Christian who's training a horse to compete in the Louisville Derby.
I love Ginna Claire Mason--she is SO talented; however, I'm disappointed that Holly Robinson Peete is making a return to Hallmark. I have listened to her speak on other shows and read some of her past social media posts, and she sounds like a racist, angry, woke liberal. For me, this movie will be DOA thanks to Hallmark's casting of Peete.
The Jane Mysteries: Murder at Moseby
Premieres: May 8 at 8pm Eastern on Hallmark Mystery
Starring: Jodie Sweetin and Stephen Huszar

PLOT: Jane goes undercover at her alma mater to help her college boyfriend solve a crime he may have witnessed years ago – during the annual Edgar Allan Poe Festival.
This movie premiered previously on Hallmark+ and has 6.1 out of 10 stars on IMDb. The plot sounds fun, but Jodie Sweetin is a terrible actress and a liberal nut in real life, so this will be another hard pass for me.
Love in the Clouds
Premieres: May 10 at 8pm Eastern on Hallmark Channel
Starring: Paul Greene, McKenzie Westmore, Gail O'Grady, and Lorenzo Lamas

PLOT: Reporter Brooklyn travels to the Balloon Fiesta to meet hot air balloon pilot Jared, who offers romantic balloon rides but is closed off to love himself.
The plot sounds similar to Romance in the Air from 2020 that stars Cindy Busby and Torrance Coombs, but it will be nice to see Paul again in a new movie!
Love on the Danube: Love Song
Premieres: May 17 at 8pm Eastern on Hallmark Channel
Starring: Wes Brown and Nazneen Contractor

PLOT: Fellow cruise passengers, Sarah and Jack, play matchmaker with their music loving widowed parents, as they cruise down the Danube visiting European cities.
This movie also aired previously on Hallmark+ and is rated 5.8 out of 10 stars on IMDb. I'm guessing that the very average rating is due to casting Nazneen Contractor as the lead. She is always terrible and never has chemistry with her co-stars. Why does Hallmark keep hiring sub-par talent? Wes is always amazing, but he can't carry the movie by himself.
Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway
Premieres: May 24 at 8pm Eastern on Hallmark Channel
Starring: Dan Jeannotte and Jessica Sipos

PLOT: A jilted art gallery manager takes her honeymoon cruise solo and meets a charming prince posing as a European gentleman, who shares her passion for art.
This movie premiered previously on Hallmark+ and has an IMDb rating of 6.3 out of 10, so it might actually be decent. Jeannotte is always fantastic, but the premise is very overdone--a royal pretending to be a regular person and a woman left at the altar who proceeds with her honeymoon plans. It's still worth trying!
Love on the Danube: Kissing Stars
Premieres: May 31 at 8pm Eastern on Hallmark Channel
Starring: Brendan Penny and Sarah Power

PLOT: Savannah, a publicist, reluctantly works with Tripp, a celebrity who is having trouble connecting with his fans, abroad a cruise promoting his latest film.
This movie is another that aired first on Hallmark+, and it boasts a 6.6 out of 10 star-rating on IMDb--the highest rated of the three Love on the Danube movies. Looks good!

;all look quite interesting! I’m sure I’ll watch and learn about these, new to me actors. I’m pretty much keyed to Lacey, Nikki, Danica, Autumn, B.Joy, and the guys normally paired with them. Oh, recently watched Lundy& Wes. Fell fo that blue eyed rd head Immediately. I am new to Hallmark movies but obviously bought lots of greeting cards years ago. Wonderful movies, thanks.
The Danube movies are clean, and also real sweet. I'm glad Hallmark has decided to air them. (just hope they're not getting any ideas about airing their wholy inapproproate Groomsmen movies)
